Episode 26 - King Of The Ring 1993

Drunk Wrestling History are back and we are reviewing King Of The Ring 1993.  It was the first time the tournament had been on pay per view and it featured Hulk Hogans last WWF match until 2002, defective Japanese cameras, and some of the worlds greatest mullets.  We are also covering recent news in the world of wrestling.  Have a drink with us and celebrate the weekend and the 90s.  Cheers!

Episode 25 - Barely Legal 1997

This week on Drunk Wrestling History we are reviewing the first ever ECW pay per view, Barely Legal 1997.  For the most part it was a great show with a few low points and a couple hilarious parts.  Pour a strong drink and relive some classic ECW with us. Cheers!

Episode 24 - Wrestlemania 11

Wrestlemania 11 is without question the worst Wrestlemania and this week the Drunk Wrestling History crew are suffering through it. A ridiculous mix of celebrities, technical issues, stupid headphones, and Bret Hart's worst match come together to create a perfect storm of terribleness.  This one goes down easier with a strong drink so grab the whole bottle and check out Wrestlemania 11 with us.  Cheers!

Episode 23 - Canadian Stampede

This week Drunk Wrestling History are drinking and talking about In Your House - Canadian Stampede.  This might have been the best In Your House pay per view and it has an insane main event.  If you've never seen it we summarize it nicely here but it's worth checking out.  We recorded this over Zoom so the audio isn't exactly stellar but you've probably heard worse sounding podcasts.  Get a bottle of your favorite Canadian beer and have a drink with us while we talk about Canadian Stampede.  Cheers!

Episode 22 - Awesome vs Tanaka Watch Along

This week Drunk Wrestling History are doing our first watch along.  We've gotten a handful of request for a watch along and figured we'd start with the match that we watch whenever we are drunk, Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka from One Night Stand 2005. This match was completely insane and full of the kind of violence that ECW was known for.  We recorded it on Zoom because of quarantine so the audio is a little wonky, well Adam's is anyway but but it's still a fun listen.  You're gonna want to have a drink with us for this one. As great of a career as Vince McMahon has had it hasn't been all success stories.  This week Drunk Wrestling History are talking about some of Vince's biggest and funniest failures from the XFL to the Wrestle Vessel.  Pour yourself a drink and laugh along with us as we talk about the Failures Of Vince McMahon.

Episode 20 - Starrcade '89

How do you book a show filled with a promotion's top stars and dream matches?  You do two round robin tournaments.  This week Drunk Wrestling History are doing our first WCW review.  On paper Starrcade '89 seemed awesome, but it turned out to be a total disaster.  Pour yourself a drink and join us as we talk about this train wreck.  Actually you might need a few drinks for this one.

Episode 19 - Cinco De Mayo

Drunk Wrestling History are celebrating Cinco Do Mayo by talking about two of WWE's greatest Mexican Superstars, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio. Back in 2005 they had what might have been the best feud of either of their careers which went from an amazing match between tag team partners, to a dark, violent, personal story that involved both of their families.We recorded this on Zoom and there was a technical issue so we had to extract the audio from the Zoom recording so it doesn't sound as good as most of our shows but we uploaded the video to our YouTube channel so you can check it out if you don't mind looking at us.  Celebrate the holiday with us and a cold bottle of Corona. Episode 17 - Wrestlemania 5

Following up on our Mega Powers episode, this week we are talking about Wrestlemania 5.  This show had Shawn Michaels' Wrestlemania debut, Andre The Giant's last really good showing, a Mr. Fuji 5K, and a Bobby Heenan marathon.  If you haven't heard the Mega Powers episode you might want to check that out first and then grab a drink and take a trip back to 1989 with and and celebrate the awesomeness of Wrestlemania 5.
